Breaking through my morning cries
You shine with painful recognition
A sight for tired, weary eyes
Interrupting dreams of precognition
Remaining with me through the sighs
Never a time without permission
Rolling through the tangled sheets
Young vibrations in the cool air
On top of where a sparrow sleeps
High above the early parishioner
Prism refraction in her messy hair
From sunlight over the air conditioner
Sneaking through the barren street
Too late to care for the red light
Rubber soles on some faded concrete
Running towards the darkened sight
Through wind and rain, snow and sleet
To make this trip through the night
Kiss the lips from colored glass
Darkened room with somber sound
With a deep breath to make it last
Laughter as the silent petitioner
One last time for haze to surround
The Moonlight over the air conditioner
